Year of the comeback
February 20, 2008Comebacks in films have started getting more and more frequent over the last few years. From Terminator 3, to Rocky 6 and Rambo 4.
Though there is a comeback film I will most definitely be going to see at the Cinema this year.
A slow and painful development of plot changes and doubt over if it would actually come to light, finally on June 18th 2007, filming started on the forth Indiana Jones film. Woot.
The Indiana Jones trilogy are probably the films I watched most when I was young, and for the trailer to finally come out and be so good, I can’t wait for the film to come out on the big screen, and I am going to see it on the big screen, even if it kills me. I just hope there’s not too many cheesy throw backs to the other films, but hopefully just the right amount.
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (The graphic adventure) is the first computer game that I remember playing as a kid, and I must of been really young then maybe only just starting to read, back when Lucasarts was still Lucasfilm Games.
Stranger still, It’s rarely been off any of my computers since then, and I’m sad enough to carry it round on a memory stick wherever I go. Just shows how awesome the SCUMM Games really are then I guess.

The films out on May 22nd, but unfortunately the Lego Indiana Jones game isn’t out until June 6th as far as I know so I’ll have to wait till then. I’m still on the wall about the full action game to be released to market the film.
As far as I’m concerned, if Lucasarts make a game, it better be point and click, include Lego, or be Grim Fandango 2.
Unfortunately, Grim Fandango 2 will never be made, and I doubt it’s going to be point and click as Lucasarts decided to make the change from making clever point and click games to humping George Lucas’s leg and churning out crap Star-Wars games over and over again. So looks like the Lego series of games is all that remains from what used to be one of the greatest companies ever.
Still yay for Lego!! Yay for Indiana Jones!!
