First thoughts? Firstly, I’m quite upset to announce that it’s not Peter Sallis providing the voice of Wallis. I don’t know who it is, they’ve done a reasonable job, but it’s just not right. I don’t think it’s enough to put me off the game, but it’s pretty close to it.

The gameplay is a bit of a mix. It’s not true point and click, you’ve got to use the arrow keys to move, almost a bit like Grim Fandango, but then you’ve got to use the mouse to interact with anything. Seems a bit odd, but once I got used to it, it didn’t seem so bad.

The demo is pretty short, and doesn’t give a lot of gameplay (it’d probably lasted longer, but I managed to work out the puzzles pretty quickly). Graphically, it appears very nice though. The models look pretty spot on for dimensions, and the environments seem to match the films reasonably well from what I’ve seen.

It seems reasonable enough at the moment, I’ll have to wait until Tuesday and the first episode to see really. That said, I’ve still got Strongbad episode 5 to complete!
