June 15, 2009I love Pixar films. Nothing better, especially when it comes to showing off Bluray.
So when my copy of the new film Bolt arrived today I was pleasantly surprised to see that it had two discs. Two discs? How much content is there if they couldn’t fit it all onto one Bluray!?
Upon closer inspection, it turns out the second disc is the DVD version of the film. Right then… why would I want the DVD version as well as the Bluray? 
A+ for generosity, F- for thought.

Just finished watching it, and I have to say it’s one of the best films I’ve seen in a while.
Definitely a dog lovers film, and a bit predictable, but the overall feeling is fantastic. Also, it looks and sounds incredible, as you’d expect from a Pixar jobby.
Rhino’s one liners are great.
I really need to start buying more Blurays. Hmmm… Advent Children is finally out next week.

If its not id wait abit because the jap special edition is supposed to be amazing, so could be worth the wait…
Bolt is a great film really enjoyed it at the cinema and rhino has some amazing lines “Im a master of stealth” (fogs ball… draws smiley face)
As far as I’ve read… It’s the only version coming out on Bluray any time soon, and it’s supposed to have the same contents as the US version.
The Jap SE just had the same bluray disk (with different default languages) and the XIII demo I thought?
I think Rhino is my new favourite character is a Disney film now…

Did they play the extra short film with him at the Cinema with his dream? That’s awesome too.
Cant remember there was a short thing with him him… cnt remember what it was…
I think the Jap SE came with a bonus disk with like 6 hours of extras on it… but your probably right i doubt it will come out over here…
Hopefully they UK version will have the Jap voice overs otherwise i wont be getting it lol
Yeah I’m hoping it’ll have the Jap voices too.
The UMD did, as does the US Bluray, so hopefully they’ve realised it’s the sort of thing that fans want.
