I know i cnt actually beleive it, i bought the single the other day tryin to do my bit… epic news lol
Just goes to show how powerful the internet is getting these days. Get enough people bored enough with something, and you actually can make a difference.
I think the single was 29p or something on Amazon when I bought it, and Tom Morello has said RAtM are going to give the royalties to charity for all the sales. Win win.
yeh saturday at some point joe’s single got slashed to the same price in stores… from £5.99 to 29p lol and he still lost by 50000 sales…
I think the main premise that they they stage the show to always get a christmas number 1… and teenagers and the facebook campaign had had enough of the propagander… (spelling is off there)
950,000 people were part of the facebook group, which drove the campaign… apprently x factor is going to be moved to start in jan/feb now to avoid this in future hehe
Yep. It’s always been pretty obvious to me that the shows ended when it has just to drive Chrimbo sales.
It’s just good to have an actual battle for the number one rather than a pre-determined x factor white wash. Haven’t that since the Darkness’s Christmas single vs some other mush.
