June 16, 2008So, I’ve managed to pull myself away from this for long enough to make a post.
Yeaah! Rock Band! It’s obviously as good as you’d think, but interestingly when I first booted it up I thought the sound was terrible, which was disapointing.
As my surround sound tells me what kind of input it’s receiving, I quickly noticed that it wasn’t providing any Dolby Digital signal, which would explain why it sounded so crappy (and was quite confusing as all Xbox games are meant to provide it).
So I fiddled around with the settings on my surround remote and couldn’t find the answer. Turns out there’s actually a setting in the game, which is bad/lazy coding really as it should detect it from the Xboxs settings. Bad Harmonix!! At least it sounds completely sexy copasetic now, and apart from that it’s spot on.
Back to it I go now.

I’m already making my way through it. I’ve got my bass pretty much sorted out 90% of the time now on medium.
Give it a day or so and I’ll take you on! (and loose probably!)
of course u will lose ive nearly finished hard
And the fact you’ve had almost a month of extra practice maybe!? Hehe!
yeh that too… but hard is so hard compared to medium… im not great on it… only getting 3-4 stars per song… i find some songs easier on hard than on medium cus they have proper drum patterns
I have to say that mediums easier than easy by loads for a similar reason.
I’ll be through medium by the end of tomorrow hopefully. Didn’t have much free time to play today.
no problem im still aying metal gear… 4th playthrough now lol
Addict! I think I’ll end up getting MGS2 and MGS3 sooner or later, then get 4 at some point.
