June 11, 2010Whilst I’m still struggling to motivate myself to make more blog posts and to finish the reviews I promised, I’ve got another game to tackle and hopefully review (eventually). I finished up Red Dead Redemption to 100% a few weeks ago, so hopefully I’ll find time to complete a review by the end of this week, 3d Dot Game Heroes is taking a bit more time to get into at the moment though. Today is a substantial day for gaming this year, as for the first time since I completed Resident Evil 4, I will treat my Wii as a games console.
I loved the first Super Mario Galaxy game. While there was nothing individually special about it, the story was average, the graphics (while good for the Wii) were mediocre, and even the controls were a bit frustrating to begin with, everything added together to make a truly enjoyable game. So whilst I’m still a bit loathed to treat the Wii like the big boys, I’m more than happy to play Super Mario Galaxy 2.
Hopefully my post count over the next week or two will improve with E3 just about to arrive, especially with some of the announcements due from certain companies…
