July 17, 2008I’ve been trying to keep shut about this for as long as possible, to try and get all the facts and see if I can make it grow on me. I can’t do it though.
It’s ugly, messy and unnatural.
The current dashboard works. It’s easy on the eyes, and you know where you’re going with it.
This is a monstrosity.
And as for avatars?! Don’t even get me started…

it could be worse they could be NUYU’s
and it would be nice to have something like this for the media area or the video store but not the whole dashboard.
you know like the way you can turn on media centre on and off on XP and vista…
I just to hope to god you can switch between “classic” and “bullshit” mode
I’d like to think you’ll be able to turn it off. But I doubt Microsoft will be that considerate.
It almost feels that as the PS3 improves the Xbox is almost going backward.
